Overview

Cadence is a life rhythm tracking app built with privacy at its core. Your data belongs to you — it never leaves your device.

Data Storage

All data you enter — trackers, logs, and settings — is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Nothing is transmitted to any external server.

Data Collection

Cadence does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Your tracker values, health data, and log entries never leave your device.

Anonymous Product Analytics

To improve the app, Cadence collects anonymous usage patterns via PostHog. This includes which features are used (e.g. "insight shared", "logging completed") and counts (e.g. number of trackers). Specifically:

• No tracker names, values, or personal content is collected
• No health data, location data, or calendar data is transmitted
• No email addresses, names, or identifiable information
• No advertising or ad-related tracking
• A random anonymous ID is used that cannot be linked to you
• Data is used solely to understand which features work well and where to improve

On-Device Processing

All insights and correlations are computed entirely on your device. No data leaves your device for processing.

Health & Location Data

Cadence can optionally connect to Apple Health (read-only) and your device location (for weather data). These permissions are requested in-app and can be revoked at any time in Settings. This data is processed on-device and never transmitted externally.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Data Deletion

You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device. Since all data is stored locally, removing the app removes all associated data.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
